Norwegian Cruise Line Announces Norwegian Aqua

2025 will be an exciting year for Norwegian Cruise Lines with the announcement of their growing fleet and a new exciting class of ship. Norwegian Aqua will be the first of their new Prima Plus Class and will be set to break the innovative barriers when it comes to what we expect on a ship. The announcement of this new ship comes after successful seasons of their two newest Prima Class ships, Norwegian Viva and Norwegian Prima.

The Norwegian Aqua will see a 10 percent increase in size and capacity from its sister ships, accommodating 3,571 guests at double occupancy and will offer more outdoor space with the highest staffing levels of any new contemporary cruise ship.

Exciting new features include the first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, the Aqua Slidecoaster. Featuring dual slides and a magnetic lift that propels guests through different courses, this exciting thrill will surely be a highlight for many. The glow court will see a digital transformation with interactive LED floor and will offer a range of daytime activities before transforming into a nightclub in the evening. Other Prima class favourites such as The Drop and the Stadium will be featured onboard.

The Haven will be seeing a new addition with an exciting Three-Bedroom Duplex Haven Suite added to this new ship class. The luxurious Haven will include 123 well-appointed suites and include access to an expansive, dedicated sundeck; a serene infinity pool overlooking the ships stern; an outdoor spa complete with glass-walled sauna and cold room; two hot tubs; a private lounge; exclusive bar pouring rare spirits and vintages; and sweeping sea views. The Heaven will continue to feature the 24-hour butler service and dedicated concierge team. When booking through Travel Masters & The Travel Studio, get extra benefits through our Virtuoso partnership.

Norwegian Aqua has been designed with the solo traveller in mind with a wide range of signature studio staterooms, priced and designed for the solo traveller and include private keycard access to a dedicated studio lounge. It will further feature a large range of solo categories, solo inside, solo oceanview and solo balcony.

Norwegian Aqua will feature an infinity edge pool with expanded seating as well as day beds on the main pool deck, a first for Norwegian Cruise Lines. The Vibe Beach Club has been elevated for an exciting adults-only experience with more seating.

You can expect incredible itineraries visiting destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas.
