Dear Bob and Beth, I have temporarily mislaid your official survey, and as we leave in the morning for a week away, thought I should try and write something for you. Thank you for your synopsis of the highlights of our Harbin tour. We certainly hope to come to your 9th March reunion; thanks for the opportunity. Our thoughts on the tour: Travel arrangements were thoroughly planned, all contingencies covered, and your contact with us exceptional, detailed, very informative/ Hotel was ideal: central position, easy walk to town area, amenities all we could ask for, very comfortable. Meals were more than adequate, very enjoyable, varied and we enjoyed every venue. Our Chinese staff were extremely helpful, unfailingly polite, cheerful, delightful, knowledgable. Weather comfortably managed, prior advice excellent. Experiences in Harbin were all interesting in the extreme, from the smallest to the largest ice sculpture, and many sensational, mind-boggling, amazing, adjective-insufficient sights. I have been telling anyone within hearing, to add the trip to their bucket lists! Do include the Germ Warfare Memorial Centre visit also in the future. Clyde and I want to thank you both for the time and effort you put into your organising, and Bob for your patience, knowledge and help during the trip. All the best from us both.
